= connectionless mode transmission[передача, режим передачи] без установления соединенияв телекоммуникации - способ обмена данными между станциями сети, при котором не требуется организовывать прямое соединение каналов. Чаще всего под этим термином подразумевают пакетную коммутацию - отправитель просто посылает сообщение адресату, не зная, в сети ли он и готов ли принять данные; каждый пакет имеет заголовок с адресом получателя и этого достаточно для доставки пакета. В случае проблем с доставкой иногда приходится несколько раз производить повторную передачу.
